The Front Assist system receives a superior rating for vehicle-to-vehicle front crash prevention and an advanced rating for vehicle-to-pedestrian front crash prevention. Tiguan models come standard with LED headlights, with the addition of the Adaptive Front Lighting System with dynamic cornering lights on the top trim. The lighting configurations both earn acceptable ratings. When it comes to safeguarding passengers, the 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan checks all the boxes.

Starting at an MSRP of $26,490 (plus destination fee), the 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan posts a competitive price point among vehicles in its class. Volkswagen is producing three distinct trims for the 2022 Tiguan which include the S, SE, SE R-Line Black, and SEL R-Line. The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan runs via its power-packed 2.0-L four-cylinder turbocharged engine that generates 184 horsepower and 221 lb./ft. of torque. The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan has outstanding fuel economy yielding 23 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. The roomy interior of the 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan comfortably seats five passengers, or seven passengers in three-row models, and has superior cabin space and legroom when compared to most other mid-size SUVs. Available in the 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan is the Fender premium audio system with nine speakers placed throughout the interior cabin that provide passengers with an immersive surround sound experience. The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan  infotainment system is fitted with an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities.
