April 23rd, 2015 by

The New York International Auto Show is one of the biggest stages upon which automakers will show off their latest production models, technologies, and concept cars which will come to shape the future of the auto industry. For 2015, automakers from all over the world descended upon the city that never sleeps and prepped to show off their latest wares. For Volkswagen, it was a great opportunity to show off the latest Beetle concepts, showing off the latest ideas for the playful Volkswagen Beetle model.

Among the concepts are the Pink edition and the Denim edition, each of which offer unique style features, to better accentuate the unique touches within the vehicles. Next up is the Beetle inspired by Volkswagen’s R-line, a racing-bred Beetle ready to hit tracks, roads, and rally tracks alike. Finally is the Beetle Wave edition, a convertible inspired by the relaxing surf culture found spotted all over the globe.

Take a look at the models in the video below.

While we can’t say with any certainty if these models will ever see production, we certainly hope that they can adorn our showroom in the near future. Volkswagen drivers love to personalize their vehicles, and these concepts indicate a strong future of customization.
