Volkswagen Plans To Debut The 2023 Volkswagen ID. Buzz At The Amelia Concours d’Elegance Event

This Sunday, March 5th, 2023, one of the most prestigious car collector events of all time the Amelia Concours d’Elegance will take place. The center of attention will be the original Volkswagen Type 2 Transporter. The automaker will soon debut the highly anticipated 2023 ID. Buzz. The 2023 ID. Buzz will offer features that no other automaker can in its segment. The Concours, in its 28th year, takes on the task of presenting a special class that highlights the traditional categorization of resources. The Amelia Councurs previously featured advertising and movie cars, as well as custom body beetles. The original Volkswagen Type 2 Transporter became a cultural icon and will be displayed and honored at the event.

The Volkswagen Type 2 electric car will be showcased while Volkswagen will also display . one of the oldest buses ever delivered to the U.S. The Type 2 will be showcased in many different forms including a high-roof ambulance, a fire truck, and a fully habitable motorhome. Three of these great vehicles became part of the entertainment world including the Fast Times bus at Ridgemont High presented at the Woodstock festival as a replica of The Light Bus and the bus occupied by singer-songwriter Jerry Garcia. The artist that painted both the replica of the Light Bus and its original version will also participate in the big event. On Sunday morning, the presentation of the new Volkswagen Type 2 predecessor model, the ID. Buzz will be presented.
The preview is intended to allow show attendees to be the first to see the North American version of the ID.Buzz, featuring a much longer wheelbase. The North American debut of the ID. Buzz will take place in California this summer. This year’s show will take on the task of recounting Volkswagen’s entire history from the introduction of the classic passenger bus.
