The Volkswagen ID.7 Will Introduce An All-New Intelligent Air Conditioning System

One of the most essential components in a vehicle is air conditioning, helping modern cars to obtain appropriate temperatures inside the vehicle in any season of the year. For the first time Volkswagen has incorporated a new air conditioning system which will debut with  ID.7.  The new feature will allow the air conditioning system to achieve the optimal temperature much quicker. The difference in speed with the new air conditioning system manages to cool or heat the cabin of the ID.7 with electronically controlled air outlets. These outlets manage to expand the air throughout the interior of the vehicle while the driver approaches the vehicle with his key. Another feature of this new intelligent automatic air conditioning system is that it can react to voice commands, takes the position of the sun into account, and also remembers preferences of drivers and passengers.

The ID.7 can activate the new intelligent air system long before passengers get into the vehicle, cooling the interior or heating the interior immediately depending on the type of weather, warm or cold. Depending on whether the outside air temperature is high and the door is open, the intelligent air vents inside the cabin will distribute the cool air to the area most exposed to heat by making dynamic horizontal movements. When the passengers are seated, the airflow released by the intelligent air conditioning system can be redirected to the body or can be used directly to ventilate the interior air as the driver prefers. This new intelligent air conditioning system will be used for the first time in the new Volkswagen ID.7 model. 

Inside the cabin of the new ID.7 model is a 15-inch infotainment screen equipped with the new climate control function at the highest operating level, being always because of the driver and activated at the touch of a finger. The intelligent air outlets can be controlled perfectly when using the clear context menu of the air conditioning. Depending on the driver’s preference, the air outlet strength and direction of movement can be intuitively adjusted and saved individually. Backlit touch-sensitive sliders help to control the air temperature of the new intelligent system. The passenger of the new ID.7 model can activate the new intelligent air system by voice alone. Specific preferences are stored in the system as Smart Climates. As an example of activation of these specific commands the driver can select a program that activates the heating of the steering wheel by simply pronouncing Hello Volkswagen, my hands are cold. This command will activate the warm air directed to the hands for approximately 5 minutes. The settings of the individual preferences made by the user will be stored as customizations in the ID.7 including the settings made for the automatic air conditioning system making the vehicle much more attractive and motivating customers to purchase the new Volkswagen ID.7.
