2025 Volkswagen Taos Pricing Released

Pricing for the 2025 Taos has been announced, updated with a striking new design, improved technology, and increased power to match the adaptability and efficiency of this reasonably priced and enjoyable to drive SUV, was revealed by Volkswagen of America, Inc. The 2025 Taos starts from $24,995 (Plus destination fee) for the S front-wheel drive model and $26,695 (Plus destination fee) for the S 4Motion all-wheel drive model.

The 2025 model year comes with new wheel designs with updated external appearance and a wider range of paint options to create even more curb appeal. Revised bumpers, grille, and standard LED projector headlights with an optional Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS). Volkswagen updated the Taos exterior with a more expressive front-end appearance. The connected taillights and the lighted Volkswagen logo at the back contribute to the car’s unique and luxurious look.

Designed to be a compact sport-utility vehicle but offers much more with its upgraded in-car technology and powertrain enhancements. More specifically, an 8-inch floating infotainment screen is part of the updated dashboard design inside. The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine under the Taos receives an increase in power from 158 to 174 horsepower, and the all-wheel-drive variant now sports an eight-speed conventional automatic transmission rather than the DSG dual-clutch automatic that was previously standard.

The pricing of the base Taos S is $24,995 (Plus destination fee) for front-wheel drive and $26,695 (Plus destination fee) for all-wheel drive. The S trim will be available in five exterior color options: Platinum Grey, Pyrite Silver, Deep Black Pearl, Pure White, and Monterey Blue Pearl. Standard cloth colors for the S trim are gray and black.

The 2025 Taos offers 17-inch front-wheel drive and 18-inch all-wheel drive aluminum alloy wheels, drive mode selection for 4Motion all-wheel drive, automatic on/off LED projector headlights, black roof rails, cloth seating surfaces, manual seat height and recline, heated front seats, heated side mirrors, and heated washer nozzles (when used with 4Motion all-wheel drive) are among the standard features. Other features include an 8-inch floating infotainment display, Bluetooth and App Connect, an 8-inch digital cockpit, Volkswagen Car-Net® with Wi-Fi capability, remote start, and KESSY® keyless go. 

All trim levels of the 2025 Taos come equipped with VW’s advanced array of IQ.DRIVE® driving assistance functions. These consist of the following: Active Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Stop and Go, Lane Assist (Lane Keeping System), Travel Assist (semi-automated driving assistance), Front Assist (Forward Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Monitoring), and Emergency Assist (semi-automated vehicle assistance in a medical emergency).

The S model, the SE price range is $27,895 (Plus destination fee)for front-wheel drive and $29,595 (Plus destination fee) for all-wheel drive. Deep Black Pearl, Pure White, Pyrite Silver, Platinum Grey, Bright Moss Green, Monument Gray, Monterey Blue Pearl, and Cornflower Blue are the colors in which SE will be offered.

In addition to 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, silver roof rails, remote start, CloudTex and cloth materials in two different two-toned options, leatherette multifunction steering wheel, heated front seats and heated side mirrors, rear console A/C vents, and an 8-way driver power seat with lumbar support, SE models elevate the Taos experience with standard premium content. For an extra $1,200, a panoramic glass roof can be added to further improve the space

Standard wireless charging and wireless App Connect, voice control and satellite radio, touch control for the Climatronic® HVAC system, complete KESSY remote start, the Adaptive Front-lighting System, and front and rear park distance management are just a few examples of the advanced technology features.

Pricing for the SE Black variant, which was released in 2024, begins at $30,145 (Plus destination fee) for front-wheel drive and $31,845 (Plus destination fee) for all-wheel drive. It has distinctive wheels—18 inches for front-wheel drive vehicles and 19 inches for 4Motion® all-wheel drive models—as well as a black roof and trim. The SE Black also comes with a panoramic sunroof, black lighted grille, and black mirror caps as standard equipment.

Pricing for the Taos SEL with standard 4Motion AWD starts at $34,695 (Plus destination fee). Deep Black Pearl, Pure White, Pyrite Silver, Platinum Grey, Bright Moss Green, Monument Gray, Monterey Blue Pearl, and Cornflower Blue are the colors that SEL will come in. The special 19-inch alloy machined wheels, illuminated grille, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch digital cockpit, and Dynamic Road Sign Display are all added to the SEL. The leather seating surfaces are offered in two-tone black and gray or dark blue.
