The 2021 Volkswagen Arteon has two different engine options, the first one being a 2.0L Turbo 8-speed Auto with Tiptronic, while the second is a 4Motion 2.0L Turbo 8-speed Auto with Tiptronic. The engines are essentially the same, but with the main difference of 4MOTION.  An all-wheel-drive system, 4MOTION distributes power between the front and rear axles on an infinitely variable basis by a multi-plate clutch. Capable of delivering 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque with a top speed of 155 mph, the Arteon is a work of art.

The 2021 Arteon base-level trim is the SE, starting at $35,995 MSRP (Plus destination fee), this trim includes an Auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather-wrapped touch multi-function steering wheel, chrome window switches, stainless steel door sills, leatherette seating surfaces, and three-zone automatic climate control. Moving up to the SEL trim starting at $39,995 MSRP (Plus destination fee) including more safety features, Power-folding mirrors with memory feature, Power tilting/sliding panoramic sunroof, Adaptive front-lighting system, leather seating surfaces, and options for rear seat heating part of the Cold Weather package.  

     As for the Arteon SEL R-Line trim, this trim begins at $41,745 MSRP (Plus destination fee), and upgrades perks for owners including 19-inch Aluminum-alloy wheels, hands-free easy open, and close hatch. The safety upgrades include an added Lane-keeping System, Park Assist, R-Line front bumper and badging, a unique massage function for the driver seat, ventilated front seats, Car-net Security & Service. For buyers looking to upgrade, the SEL Premium R-Line starting at 47,695 MSRP (Plus destination fee) adds 20-inch alloy wheels, R-Line bumpers with high-gloss accents, front and rear stainless scuff plates, contrast stitching on the steering wheel and shift knob, a special black headliner, and Dark Diamond door panel decor.
