The 2022 Volkswagen Taos is set to have a starting MSRP of $23,000 (Plus destination fee), and now comes with three different trim levels including, S, SE, and SEL. All trim levels are powered by Volkswagen’s new turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine capable of producing 158 horsepower and 184lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel-drive versions will feature an eight-speed transmission while all-wheel-drive versions will have a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The 2022 Taos front-wheel and all-wheel drive trims will also carry different suspensions, front-wheel trims will use a torsion-beam set up, while all-wheel-drive trims use a more sophisticated multilink design. The available illuminated grille features LED headlights with an Adaptive Front Lighting System that gives the 2022 Taos an eye-catching look combined with a powerful engine that grants buyers the ideal mix. 

What Owners Can Expect Inside the 2022 Volkswagen Taos 

Inside the all-new 2022 Volkswagen Taos customers can enjoy a spacious cabin that can seat up to five, with available ventilated leather seats with contrast stitching. All 2022 Taos now come standard with Volkswagen’s Digital Cockpit that is a 12.3-inch fully customizable high-resolution display. Allowing drivers to drop the classic analog dash gauges for a digital version keeping all information in the driver’s line of sight with information like fuel usage, navigation updates, phone, and more. In addition, the 2022 Taos features a sleek-looking 6.5-inch infotainment system with a subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot. The system is connected to an eight-speaker BeatsAudio stereo, SiriusXM satellite radio, and wireless smartphone charging.
