Volkswagen Group of America (VWGoA) has signed an agreement with Bugatti Rimac to import and distribute Bugatti and Rimac vehicles. Bugatti was once partnered with the Volkswagen Group before the creation of the Bugatti Rimac Joint venture with the Porsche brand. The VWGoA has continued to make strategic alliances with brands around the world pushing towards the same goal. The goal of creating a safer and cleaner planet for the future generations to come, to create a more sustainable manufacturing process, and increase the use of older electric batteries.

“We’re thrilled to continue distributing Bugatti vehicles through our newly-signed agreements. Our distribution network has long provided the support and expertise necessary to provide the highest quality experience for our customers. We’re also excited that we will import and distribute Rimac models through this collaboration, providing even more variety for our customers.”  said Pablo Di Si, President and CEO of VWGoA

The agreement was signed by Pablo Di Si, President and CEO of Volkswagen Group of America, Christophe Piochon,COO of Bugatti Rimac, Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti Rimac, and Bugatti Rimac Commercial Director Hendrik Malinowski during the Monterey Car Week. Volkswagen will begin to distribute both Bugatti and Rimc branded models which will strengthen the push of electric vehicles and options available. Bugatti Rimac will expand into the U.S. market, one of the strongest markets in the world. Together all three brands will benefit in both exposure and distribution. The timing couldn’t be better as many brands have stopped the production of many combustion vehicles and will expand into the electric market.

“For both the Bugatti and Rimac brands, the U.S. is the strongest single market in the world, so it’s important that we curate a sales and ownership experience befitting the extraordinary cars that we’re delivering to customers. The alignment and cooperation with Volkswagen Group of America will allow a new dealer network in the States to evolve with the enormous experience and resources available to them, allowing us to combine all the best bits of a mass-market sales operation with the bespoke, customer-centric special touches that have become a hallmark of both Bugatti and Rimac brands.” said Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti Rimac

The strategic partnership is estimated to help push the Bugatti and Rimac brand vehicles around the world, with the VWGoA distribution network the transition will be easy. Volkswagen has been focused on pushing its electric vehicles to the next level, designing models that fit all segment needs. Volkswagen’s ID.Family offers fully electric vehicles in all segments, from SUV to sedans. Currently the automaker is preparing the release of its highly anticipated 2024 ID.Buzz, the model that made a huge impact during its initial release back in 1950, the microbus became one of the most useful vehicle.
