All of this power is routed to a front-wheel drive and a standard six-speed manual transmission, with an optional eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2024 Volkswagen Jetta has top-of-the-line fuel economy, capable of up to 31 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway. The Jetta joins Volkswagen’s 2024 lineup which also includes the Atlas, Atlas Cross Sport, Tiguan, Taos, Golf GTI, Golf R, Passat, Arteon, and Jetta GLI.
